THE PROBLEM

Musicians do face a lot of problems to get their music out there to be heard, a simple effortless support and approval may not be that easily obtained contrary to what you may think, be it from the radio station, television news network or any other media coverage. I personally think the Kuching scene with it's extensive local support has a better chance of surviving the whole ordeal. Supports range from the chains of Jamming studio owners, local fans who attend gigs to the network of friendships among bands. I notice that they are a small amount of them all in all, nevertheless the bond is far stronger than what the scene here in the west Malaysia has to offer. friendships are trully appreciated here, and despite our less coverage, we're making bigger steps forward if we push ourselves hard into the right direction. Throughout my entire stay of four months in Kuching, i can feel the differences a small Kuching scene has to offer given it's small gathering of hardcore supporters. Despite some other issues which are forcing me to not go back after my studies, i guess i'll have to swallow my pride and take myself back to good old kuching this time. Sorry Kl... Maybe in a few more years time i'll come back and take you by storm

It all started with just a dream years ago, a college fantasy which slowly worked it's way to become reality today through countless hard work, scarifice and determination, knowing that there's nothing such as free lunch in this world, the members strive hard to deliver pure and soulful tunes to the crowd. For your interest in soul music, MYMP stands for a band known as Make Your Momma Proud, one of the few filipino bands i've been listening to. If you are one who loves the music of Akaash, coldplay, david tao or be it Ayumi, this is definitely worth checking out. I promised that you'll be captivated by the soulful tunes from their lead vocals, Juris fernandez. It's only a matter of time before you drown in the tunes from the oldies as they cover most of the popular oldies tunes rearranging them to their own distinct taste. I think she totally recreates the songs by adding a whole new style of her own to the songs. Be sure to check em out as their albums are in store all around town. ;) Wait no more and go get a copy of it yourself..!!

aftermath

Feeling homesick, not in the mood to write every details, so to sum everything which happened to me in the past few days,


The Bike accident really cost me
- RM80 on repairs, render me broke on chinese new year, damnit..!!
- tons of scratches around my arms and legs
- Inner pains submerged the next morning, had to skip my class due to extreme pain in my joints, manage to attend the evening classes though. Limping in campus and still feeling the pain now..
- somehow i still manage to complete and pass up my project proposal on time
- most importantly i manage to buy the gift intended for my friend, a smile from the fella was worth all the pain i went through getting it, hahah...

Not going back for chinese new year this time, been busy on
- apache - php and mysql programming (stil learning for FYP purposes)
- visual c++, back to basic programming for two of of my subjects
- dev c++, parallel processing project requirement
- Microsoft .NET, wireless computing requirement to develop a wireless application
- TRYING HARD to study.. ^..^
- sleeping a lot, haha..

It's really funny how everything seems to fall together in place lately, i felt really lucky and jinxed at the same time these few days, felt like i'm being cursed by someone and yet at the same time helped by angels to recover from it, guess it's like i need a lot of hardships to encounter before i really reap my rewards, sowing the fruits from the seeds i plant, and as of now im starting to slowly see the rewards of my actions. Honestly, above all that misfortune, im really lucky to know you, yes you the one who are reading this, thank you for being a friend to me all this time, you know who you are.. ;)

One of my friend's birthday is coming soon, so i thought of buying a book or something from jusco to celebrate. Happily i went with my planned trip, anticipating a great trip to MP. Sadly, as i was slowly reaching one of the traffic light, a cibai, lanciau, pukimak, sial, babi, cicak, lansut, lampa, tiao nia ma green colour satria decided to make an illegal side turning in spur of the moment at the traffic light, i was beside him at that moment so i tried to avoid, but too late.. nevertheless i tried turning along with the bastard, which at that moment the cunt decided to slower down his turning speed some more, maicibai.. control macho he manage to turn behind and look at me some more while slowing down and turning.. you think you are some schumacher shit arr fucker??


i hit, we banged, and my sweet loving bike lied down on the floor looking miserablely in pain. It's front cover is now broken and the remaining pieces are strewn across the road like sands on the beach, shit, i got up and clean myself, noticed that i've got myself some minor scratches but thank god nothing serious at all. The bastard at first kept going on, then hesitated and when i stood up, waving my helmet and shouted at him he decided to stop at quite a distance away already. I think he got scared cause all the other cars began honking at him when they see me fell down, or maybe because he knows i can see his car plate, or else guarantee run like a pussy already man.. i thought he decided to come over and talk it all out, but my god what he said to me was shockingly rude, for the first time in my life i've heard the best excuse a malay guy can give to me after violating me in public.

"Sana jalan tuh ada bumper la, sebab tu aku hari hari guna jalan ini turning, slalu takde hal pun.." that's all he muttered, while picking up some pieces of my bike cover and gave them to me ...zzz i remain silent, not uttering a single word yet because he never say sorry for what he has done while silently putting the blame on me... contradicting to what you think, i am not a confrontational man, it's not my policy to go physical in public so i just pick up my bike, restart it and continue going on to buy my intended stuff..

P/s - let me tell you one thing you fucking son of a bitch, dont you ever let me see you again in the road or elsewhere, for i swear im gonna break those sweet glass you use to see who's behind you in the car you retarded asshole..

latest updates

Today i went for my lab session and was captivated by my super hot tutor in class, despite her beauty she was a total bitch who purposedly picked on me throughout the entire session in the lab disregarding a lot of other people's feelings in the process as well. Silently, I have a hunch that she was rejected a long long time ago in college by some playboy whom she poured out her entire heart for, which explains the reason the hatred and coldness she displays towards male students. I can almost smell the bias judgement she has clearly when it comes to us guys turn to do the equation. My only theory for these kinds of happenings would be that she is desperate to climb over every single man's head to show how inferior we are compared to that small petite sized framed biatch. Well, as we all know, the person who are desperate to show that are the most inferior person after all.

gomenasai, you are seriously hot and pretty but definitely not in my list of dream girl biatch..!!

some updates to my boring life,
- as usual school reopens for almost two weeks now, da hot chicks are back, yeargh..!!
- im a superhuman once again this time, taking 7 subject and one FYP 2nd part to complete...
- trying hard to study but i can sense that there'll be a lot of distraction this semester
- spending my cold lonely miserable time at the library as usual
- not going back for chinese new year due to someone projects..
- trying to save money to buy something for my guitar, which is around rm900 (so far got myself rm200)
- moved to a large single room for rm180 a month (no furnitures) requires more spending here
- got myself some new toys to entertain myself at home, yeah its a guitar slider..
- got jacked for two assignments where we are required to do it in groups, i'm doing it alone for the time being, superhuman attributes detected. More on this later.
- the girl i used to my eyes on are now officially attached.
- bike is fixed, spent almost rm200
- Felt like being used, and abused by some fellas
- learn to love ice creams, magnum is not 4d number only brother
- SLAP is having a side project with my ex bandmates in kuching
- it's kinda sad that a lot of people didnt know/remember my birthday
- but thats still ok, the worst is none of your family member seems to know about it at all, which makes me wonder if my existance in this universe is really making an impact or not. I'm a sad person to know
- the only birthday gift i got was a cool bullet shaped lighter from my friend Naresh who came down from kl, thanks macha..



That's about it for private updates, but for music updates, there's a gig this saturday at sri hartamas which involves a few bands from MMU which i think should be worthy to be checked out.
