Akash..

Damn, i can still remember how it all started.. Approached by pathma at Chelvis Food Shop, he asked me if know how to play guitar. His band is looking for a guitarist it seems to compete in some dingy crappy competition, well since i had nothing better to do at that time so i agreed to play for them. Pradeep was there too at that time, he too was approached by Pathma to play for his band. While scratching our ass in wonder, we concluded to meet later that night in the drummer aka Phagat VInder's house. Without knowing anything about the band at all, we just head off to vinder's house late as usual.. There we shook hands with a full fledged bhaai the first time, he showed us a riff, his half fake kondei and we progressed from there, creating the whole "Undecided" song in a night. Later, we figured out that we need a bassist and a singer so Vinder brought Song while Pradeep brought Reynu aka Belinda, it's only the later part that Justin came into the whole picture, it was then the picture was completed. We started serious jamming, song writting, making love to our instruments and much more in Vivace Studio..

If you noticed, our band consist of individuals from different circle of friends and life, we are all so different in character that if we were not to meet for the band practises we would barely meet each other at all for weeks on a stretch.. Sometimes i feel very lucky to be able to meet these group of amazing people at the very final years of my life in MMU, the amount of energy we had playing together was amazing, i really admire their strength, talent and songwritting skills. For those of you who doesnt know, Akaash's main talent is in it's songwritting department, at least that's what i feel..

Now, the murky water began to appear before a darkened sky, audition for a new singer will start soon in Vivace Studio, i will have headaches watching while people keep smoking like hell in the studio to look legit and adult... Hopefully, we will get through it all intact and remain as unique as a star in the sky.. No matter what the outcome is, one thing for sure is that Akaash will be in my memory forever..
